Abstract


Communes with extremely difficulty in the coastal areas of Binh - Tri - Thien with a total natural area of 898,2382 km2, including 51 communes in 13 districts and towns. The terrain is mainly sand dunes and a small plain. The soil is mainly white sand, sandy soil and alluvial soil. Monsoon humid tropical climate, with a relatively cold winter. People's lives are mainly based on agricultural production.


Evaluation of the model’s sustainability with criteria of economic, social and environmental efficiency with 34 models of 6 models groups shows: High degree of sustainability has 11 models, and the level of sustainability is quite there are 13 models, the average level of sustainability has 5 models and the low level of sustainability has 5 models. Assessment of vulnerability caused by the impacts of climate change to natural resources, environment, socio-economy in the extremely difficult coastal communes of Binh - Tri - Thien area shows 67.83% of the research area has a high and very high vulnerability. From there, proposing 2 groups of models to adapt to climate change: Key models group; and group of potential models, suitable for local ecological characteristics and solutions for implementing 2 models groups.
